I see now you are refering to my comment about seperate forums....

Is there not enough things about the two that are the SAME to create a single 'touch diamond/pro' forum and have the diamond and pro issues as child forums....

or is it seriously like trying to have the same forum for the mogul and the touch....???

I just imagine that it would be a little more tidy, and I guess I thought there would be a substational ammount between the 2 models

(well, they are the same 'model' kinda...) anyways, correction:
I thought there would be quite a bit of info that is the same regarding to the two *MODEL OPTIONS/PACKAGES/VERSIONS* that it would be worth seperating the differences into sub or child forums....
Like... I see the HTC Touch as the new model, with two versions, the all-touch diamond, and the slightly SLIGHTLY bulkier pro to fit a little keyboard....

If I am wrong, feel free to put me in my place and point me towards links that has listed some differences... I'm just tryin to learn more about my new toy.... OOO and i still have the box and receipt, etc.... soooooo I can still exchange if I find out something unexpected.

One thing I realized, is I liked the htc phones because they seem to do a fairly good job at running windows mobile (altough, it is windows... and it is a PPC, they aren't perfect...). So in the past, if you wanted to use navigation, or get your own programs, or use the once hidden gps, etc etc.... you had to get a PPC and hack it, or download the programs you need, because the non PPC phones were not so customization friendly, and sprint would charge for programs like their nav, etc....

HERE is a questions I've been pondering... with the new plans they have now, the GPS, internet, etc... is all included, (yes more money, we saw that change coming)... but also no more trying to get around the locked up gps crap, and needing custom free programs.

So, with all of this included, I was wondering how a black berry stands up to WM 6.1? Will I end up paying for programs or can I find plenty of free like the PPC has... ???
I mainly use the net, texting, facebook +myspace, gps, etc but none of the buisness crap is needed (email servers, etc).... however, like before the 6800 had threaded text, I wanted to be able to use my own text program (before palm found out we were distributing it.. cough) but thats just an example....
anyways, I don't need all the PPC features, I just liked them cause I could customize my programs, and find free sources for them without going through sprint for every damn thing.....

so... does the black berry (pearl, curve...) whatever the non touch screen is...... would I be able to find free progs and customize it similar to the ppc w/ WM6.1 ???
(oh sidenote, the kid that came in to trade his pro for an instinct, he was looking at the 2 new black berry phones first... and the rep said that the pictures had to be send over email (like our ppc phones used to have to do).... is this true w/ the black berry phones?? they have no MMS?

sorry about the long blabling..... it is hard to express what I am trying to say... hopefully someone will understand.
