well thanks for putting this post up. glad we have the opportunity to at least say something about the VZW TP. Yes, all of us know it is gimped, but some of us do not have a choice of carriers due to location. So...here are my issues with the vzw tp:

With 3DTF running or not. Other test was having 3-4 programs opening and doing the same thing:
In general, the entire o.s. is laggy, sometimes taking seconds to respond to touch or keypresses.
Entering text on the keyboard is very laggy. Worse than navigating the OS.
Keypress on touch screen laggy. Not as bad as OS, but still there is a delay.
Incoming calls. Lights up, then 2-3 seconds later it starts ringing.
Camera, impossible. 5-7 second delay between pressing button and shutter taking picture.
Opening/closing keyboard turns on camera occasionally <--wtf?
Open and close keyboard, takes about 2-3 seconds to change landscape to portrait mode.
Accelerometer works fine. Seems to respond to motion ok.
Have not tested TV out.
Playing music. Junk as well. Music skips, like blank spots in the music when playing.
Flicking through favorites or pictures. Delayed as well. Not to bad, but there is a delay.
The device will not hard reset like it says in the instruction pdf. I had to go to system/settings/someplace and do a clear memory, enter 1234 and it would hard reset.
Battery is dead in 8 hours flat, with moderate talking and maybe 30 mins of internet use.

There is NO YouTube app. There is NO IM applications either.
There was no included microSD.
There was no included earbuds.
There was no included cheapy case.
The box was a verizon box, not the nice Touch Pro box. or like sprints, theirs was nice.
I even wrote HTC and advised them that VZW is making their products look like crap, and they responded to me that they apologized, but they just sell the product how the CARRIER requests. So it is clearly not thier issue, but damn I'd be pissed at VZW if I were HTC right now......or better yet if I were HTC I would refuse to spec the phone like this to them.

I think thats it, will update if I think of more things (other than bricking this junker lol)
