ok so here is my experience with 3.8 so far.
-its faster then 3.7.1 for sure. not a little but a lot faster
-trying to fully close opera thru its menu has crashed my phone twice now
-i also have the keyboard issue
-bluetooth works, wifi works and all my programs fun fine and i notice them loading faster
-sound quality is great
-battery lasts a day with heavy web, texting, youtube, and general phone usage

overall i am really happy with 3.8 in regards to speed and application compatibility. if the keyboard and opera bugs are fixed, then in my opinion, this is better than 3.7.1.
