Re: Touch Pro Build Date
I guess my expectations aren't as high as yours I know that there are manufacturer tolerances on any mass produced item and these tolerances can lead to different experiences for different people. I have had probably 20+ of these devices over the years I received most of them from Sprint insurance after damage of some kind, in all of then there has been a lack of sensitivity around the screen edges, I expect it so I adapt. When you have a screen of this type it can be affected by things like temperature for example, its material composition can allow it to expand and contract causing different levels of sensitivity around the edges. that is why it has an option to recalibrate you can find this in settings. Forward facing screen bottom line is the most retarded thing that any manufacturer ever did because of the possibility of manufacturer tolerances and changes in atmosfer and temperature causing sensitivity issues. I like Windows Mobile and until Manufacturers change screen types to something a little more stable there will always be people who don't understand these issues and have problems with these screens. If you like the Windows Mobile platform you need to adapt to your device. IMHO this is why HTC usually makes a qwerty equipped device for all there more popular devices those who type a lot wont like typing on the screen because of the sensitivity issues. Now for the bottom line on this issue these screens aren't perfect they are not going to be so you need to adapt.
Over hearting, broken plastic dimpled screens, screens that wont calibrate... obvious manufacturing issues like these are good cause for an exchange so please do.
