It does not. Most DivX files are encoded at SD/HD resolution for TV viewing, so they tend to be too CPU-intensive to play well on WinMo devices.

We recommend transcoding DivX files with tools like Kinoma Producer or HandBrake (which now supports file-based sources) for best results on mobile.

BTW, we're going to be changing the Kinoma FreePlay download page so it doesn't download the app automatically. Also, we'll add options for downloading it directly to your phone via your browser or SMS.
