PPCim doesn't back up text messages in threaded format, so, when you restore all the text messages, it has to rethread them all.
I like the threaded deal, but it has a lot of faults still. So I switched back to classic.
If you dont need the text's, then just erase them all, or back them up separate and name it as a backup for them, that should take care of that with PPCim. I use classic view, it works good, and then i use advanced config to turn sent notifications on. I dont know why one would want to turn that off, its very helpfull to know if they sent. Specially in threaded mode which seems to screw up a lot on sending for me.
