umm duh yeah u need a data plan. any person who tethers without a data plan needs to get smacked in the nose with a 2x4.

were talking about the $15 dollar a month PAM add-on. I know plenty of people with data plans that dont have the PAM add-on who have never been charged extra.(including myself before I was put on an employee plan)

I SAID that they can detect it but usually dont charge u if u have a data plan unless u abuse it. Of course they dont advertise this, that would be dumb, but most of us know this.

Can they charge you? Yes. Will they probably not. Can you fault them if they do? No.
