I was also wondering if its possible to assign the txt button to open text messages? I know it can open messaging, but I can't find one for opening text messaging.

I am running 2.17. I can also confirm the white flashing bar (landscape does not have this issue), the task manager killing programs issue, and the on screen keyboard typing the last character when trying to minimize it.

it's a bug present in all rom builds past 2xxxx
