This has always worked on the other versions of the BigJ ROM. I store attachments to the storage card (which is actually Extended ROM since I don't know how to change it literally to the storage card). I am using the Sprint version (1.1). Nothing else installed. WMP works OK for music saved to my card (although it kind of skips, but I think that relates to my card not being a great card. I have a PQI 2GB).

Any ideas on how to resolve this?
I have the same exact problem and receive the same error msg when I try to listen to a wav file as an attachment - I have my sunrocket VM emailed to me as wav attachment. Did not have a problem before with 9.6 - not sure if this happened with 1.6 or 1.0.
so all wav files play fine, unless their your voicemails and emailed to you??? that is just bizzare, can you find out what type of encoding the wav file is using or zip it up and send me one. Thanks
I am sending you a voicemail file which went to my email. When retrieved on the PC, the message plays fine on the desktop. When retrieved on the PPC, I get the message I refer to. Funny thing is that today, one message played on the PPC (none had been playing before on this ROM version) but when I went later to replay it...I got the error.

Also, noticed that the size of the attachment in the PPC says "23K" but the file I am sending is 50k. I will send that screenshot next.

I am guessing there is an issue with the downloading of the .wav file to the PPC, not the playback of the downloaded file. In fact, when I move the file from my desktop to the PPC...it plays.
