Take your phone back to a Sprint store and ask for an exchange. Try to come up with as many reasons to exchange it flat out (i.e. battery life, dpad, screen sensitivity). The reason I say this is because Sprint will want to repair the phone, and if it takes an extended period of time, they will give you a loaner (yuck!).

I have built a good relationship with the store manager at my local corporate sprint store, I mentioned to him about this issue and he said if it continues to bring it in for an exchange. This guy has been with the company for about 15 years and is all about customer service which is unusual in this day and age. Thanks for the tip.
