Sorry bout that. I realized it was the diamond but was hoping it would work for the Pro since he encountered the exact same problem.
I had to downgrade back to my mogul.... good thing i hadnt sold it yet and i get to play with andriod a bit...

I know this is Diamond thread but I found a solution for this problem that worked on the Pro and may work on a Diamond that you can not get to hard reset. I just did the power and volume down combo to get to the multi color screen and reflashed. Worked with no problems and my phones working again. So if you lock it up with a GSM rom like I did ( like a moron) hopefully this or a hard reset can work for you Diamond or Pro... again sorry for the mis placed post in my frantic state last night.
