I dont think you can. You cold probably use Sashimi to do a root copy for your pim.vol, but I've always just synced my contacts. You could use pim backup. I have a backup copy just in case.

I feel like I'm a spokesperson for Sashimi, but it so much more powerful and robust than UC.
www.winmo-experts.com I used UC before Sashimi. Both have a learning curve, but Sashimi is compatible on any rom. UC has to be cooked in the rom. Sashimi FTW.
Flashing is a breeze now. I dont enter any serial keys, input any settings, or setup any programs(actually, a few in manual mode). Check out the videos.
