lucky you!! i bought mine on e-bay, brand new still in sealed box, and it only has 3 weeks left on the warranty. i've been working with utstarcom to see if they will cover the warranty but i've not been having to good of luck. they want me to just send it in for repair since i have dropped it in the past and they will charge me a repair fee. i've tried to explain to them that i dropped the phone 6 months ago and it worked fine until the automatic update from sprint happened when i called to setup another phone. they tell me that that would not mess up my radio stack but i didn't have any problems until that update. now i can get my radio reloaded after messing with it for 4 or 5 hours but then out of the blue it will just quick again. this is like the 5th time. i guess i'm just screwed and will have to send it to utstarcom for service.
update 6-18-07 > OK, my 6700 is on it's way to UTStarcom via next day air. I have to resort back to my old Sanyo 9000. I hate not having my 6700 but I hate it more when it doesn't work. Can't wait to get it back so that I can flash the latest kitchen into it.
update 7-1-07 > Just got my 6700 back today from UTStarCom!!!!! They had to replace the main board and did not charge me anything!! Well I've got my new rom cooking as I'm typing this! Thanks for all of the help everyone has sent my way!!
