I'll run his tool on mine tomorrow and work with him to analyze the results.

I can say for certain that I am NOT experiencing issues with heat or charging (charges just fine)... I was on the phone to France for a couple hours over the weekend talking with a friend of mine.

In terms of heat, it wasn't "cold plastic" but it wasn't even warm enough to keep my hands from going numb in a cool house let alone "hot" in the way I would heat water for a shower, and certainly not too hot to hold.
