I apologize if that's the impression you got from the post. That is not the intent. My suggestion is that people should plan to do so, especially if they're new to the PPC scene and are used to more talk time from their traditional flip-phones and such.

Agreed. The Motorola chargers are especially guilty of this, since theirs are often pinned for their own devices and their phones often refuse to charge at all on non-Motorola cables.
