I am glad to see you have done this research before just asking, but i don't believe it will work for the 6700 still. If there are wires that just "need to be soldered to the cpu" that isn't really something that can be done by a user. Even on a removable socket chipset for a pc that isn't easily done for most people.

This topic seems to have an eerie similarity to the idea of standalone GPS on the 6700.

Hate to be negative like this, but i'd be happy to be proven wrong
