As for the insurance, it didn't do me much good when my 6700 died, and all they wanted to give me was a Treo. I do agree about the peace of mind, though. When I was with Verizon, I went through three XV6600s under insurance. I guess now, I'm at the mercy of lady luck and HTC's warranty!
