Re: Finally Sprint Diamond on Verizon, but...

You can follow 99% of the steps, but I would stay away from the shipped ROMs they mention.

Using the links I provided earlier in this thread along with that touch pro tutorial should provide you with all the necessary steps. Use the site search function as well. There is a lot of info on transitioning the vogue (touch) between carriers.

To recap - phone activation:
1 - Modify the phone's SPC (service programming code) and switch it to 000000. Verizon requires this in order to successfully program.

2 - Load the verizon modified PRL found on the touchpro thread or on http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=39985. This will allow your phone to connect to verizon to start programming. (You can try loading the ERI later if you have roaming indicators, but this doesn't always work)

3 - Call *228 for programming and select option 3. Upon successful activation you should be able to make and receive calls.

Data Setup

1 - Edit M.IP settings to setup your data connection - steps 5/6/7 on http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=20090&highlight=change+carrier

2 - upload the DMU 10.key file using EFS Explorer in QPST.

3 - after setting up the M.IP settings and your DMU key you should be able to initiate a data connection. The AAA and HA secret keys should populate. If they don't you will need to call verizon to get a DMU reset.

Be careful when you are in QPST and follow the directions on the sites. Modifying settings incorrectly can leave you with a headache.
