Of course it is going to generate too much heat and stop charging.

Care to elaborate? Is this because your TP doesn't have an issue, or does it have all these problems, and you don't feel that HTC would even respond?

As for cell phones not being designed to be used while charging, that's news to me and the phones I've been using for at least 6 years. Some have had some heat others almost none, but none were even close to this.

Ditto, and ditto. Mine overheated with, or without BT. I also experiencing it get so hot that I could not comfortably hold it. I would say that it was hotter than my car heater blows. Also, I've had about 6 phones in the last 10 years, some normal, some PPC, and none of them have had this problem. Most never really get above luke-warm during heavy use.
