Your device MUST say CE OS 5.2.20757 in order for the business card reader to actually start, it won't matter if you have the cab or not.

Only a few people know how to get it to worth otherwise, but that's not really the issue. If you want it, download the kitchen (v3) and make a ROM with it, or download one of the current ROMs that include it, otherwise, forget it.
