The first app I install on any ROM is nueFont:
http://www.nuerom.com/BlogEngine/page/nueFont.aspx and bump the font size up to help my eyes. My Quick Menu font is plenty big, I think it is keyed to the system font settable in nuefont. These can be altered by registry too, but I find it easier to just put nuefont on. Advanced Config also has some of these font change settings.
