Re: Steps to Reproduce Problem

I am experiencing all of the listed issues. I regularly make 2+ hour phones at night and my phone heats up tremendously and stops charging. I removed the battery cover, and opened the keyboard and this solves it. This is not an acceptable solution.
In addition, every day at work I plug my phone into the PC using ActiveSync and I stream XM radio through my phone. I am not even using EVDO for my internet connection, as I'm letting the PC handle the internet signal. 3 or 4 hours into it, I get a low battery warning, and I notice the phone has stopped charging because it is rediculously hot. At this point, I have a small desk fan and blow cool air on the phone, 10 seconds later, the phone starts charging again. I leave it plugged into ActiveSync with the fan blowing on it, the phone will continue to work for the rest of the day, but at the end of the day, I immediately had the low battery warnng.
This is completely unacceptable even though I have found ways to avoid it completely dying on me. I have it plugged in all day long, no way should it be dead by the end of the day!
What can I do to assist in getting through to Sprint on this issue?
I purchased my phone from BestBuy and it has a manuafature date of 10/14/2008
