I haven't tested long phone calls yet, however with my phone plugged in running wmwifirouter the other day for about a half hour, it worked fine. Wmwifi was reporting 29C temperature when I started it up, low signal area so it was working harder. I popped open the keyboard and use internet through it to do some surfing for about a half hour, afterwards it was reporting a 27C temperature. Maybe I'm just lucky..
29C seems even too hot to me... My Touch never got over 17C during my tests the other day... Obviously they weren't performed in a lab, so nothing is definitive, but it is pretty obvious that the TP radio ROM is f'd
