Possibly. Doesn't sound likely, but it could be. I have no issues, and I use the mogul charger.

edit: now that I think about it--I bet it's the fanboys that keep reporting the threads, and it pisses off the mods. It's just easier to close a thread than to deal with someone whining.
Could you imagine if ALL OF US who are having these issues all went into the Sprint stores at the same time, all over the country, and just started raising hell? It would stir up some trouble. Our voices would be heard. Right now, HTC tells us to "go away," and Sprint says, "here's another defective phone, now go away."

I'm tired of hearing of the issues personally, only because its the same useless polls and same info being posted OVER and OVER and OVER. Not really any new developments.
Personally, I haven't seen any issues. Have you actually gotten new devices? I'm not so sure its a 100% problem on all of them given all the reports of it being fine. It may be a string of bad luck. I went through 5 macbook pros before I got one that didn't have a ****ty screen or noisy fan or other random issue. Sure it sucks, crappy quality control, but hey you gotta do what you gotta do. Go get a new phone and see if that helps.

PS, 115F is hot for a phone. That's REALLY FREAKING HOT... it's even pretty high for a high-performance GAMING RIG.
115 degree Fahrenheit = 46.1111111 degree Celsius
I should be able to leave my phone connected 24 hours a day, and it should never get this hot.

That sounds insane, almost like a hardware defect in your peronsal phone in my opinion. 115F isn't that hot for a high performance gaming computer though, 46C is NOTHING these days. The newer CPUs and GPUs can easily get to 80+C without damage, hell, my 8800GTS gets up in the 70-80C range under heavy load.

I am definitely a "Power" user, and will put the phone through the gauntlet for the sake of this thread. I'm really anal-retentive about the phone's power draw, and have always watched it closely. I'm assuming I'll have a newer build date than some of you getting it new directly from Sprint. maybe we can make a correlation.

If you look, it is not the majority of users having issues here. On forums like this, its the users with problems that post, most people don't come on all happy with a perfect device. I'd say don't worry at all about the Touch Pro. You have 30 days and if you really dont like it and can't get one that works well, return it. I only have a few cosmetic issues with my phone (random chip in the chrome), however I"m not replacing mine at the moment because my phone works fine hardware wise.
