I am a mostly happy TP owner but that doesn't mean I need to talk smack about the iPhone. I'm sure I'd love the iPhone if I used one, and know people who do, but I just don't want to be an evil AT&T customer (now THEY are worth bashing!) and get raped on my monthly plan, so I make do with this phone, and am really impressed.
I understand the need for the thread though because it's true that unfortunately there are a lot of unthinking Apple fanbois who simply won't accept that Apple is best always or that the competition could ever be better in any way.
But my advice is, speaking softly, don't be guilty of the same thing that the opposition is doing. There's no need to call Apple "crap," the iPhone a "joke" etc. Especially if you haven't been fair and tried one yet. (That's what those knee-jerk iPhone fans are doing in some of their TP reviews--so don't copy them.)

I agree. At first, it may anger some of us and we may react inappropriately, but once that resides all of us should speak levelheadedly in order to get proper word out. That's why i edited original post from what it was last night. We can have our voices heard tastefully and with respect. We can compare the tp with major competitors, but we don't need to do it in a negative manner... All we have to do is state the facts and people will gain interest in phones like these. I was almost turned away from winmo phones because of the negative things i heard.. but i'm glad i took a gamble.
