Yea, that's definitely true. The first time is kinda scary, but when you get done & everything works fine it's a super feeling & you realize it's really not hard at all. There are only 4 steps involved & it takes about 10 minutes start to finish.

1. Unlock the phone

2. Upgrade the radio

3. Flash the ROM

4. Run your carrier cab

The only other step I had to take (I've probably done this 50 times) was to install Arcsoft to get MMS (picture mail) to work in my verizon phone.
