Re: Google Street View

It is kinda cool/handy having the street view at times.

I used it recently when I offered to pick up a friend of my sons from where he works. He works in a liquor distribution warehouse & the whole neighborhood is old warehouse/storage etc etc

I knew exactly where the neighborhood was as I owned a tavern/restaurant 1/2 mile from there for almost 20 years & had been down the street many times. I really couldn't place where he was saying to pick him up however. At that point, it occurred to me that Google Nav's SV feature might be just the ticket & fired it up.

Not only was he able to show me the building where he worked, we zoomed right in & he showed me which door he would be coming out of & what was the best place to park to wait for him.
