Reasons to install .NET 3.5 is if applications need it. If your phone seems slower, it's a placebo effect. Installing 3.5 won't affect your speed unless there's an application that's compiled against something needing a 3.5 library.

Humm. I read in another tread on XDA developers entitled something like "speed up your WM device" by installing .NET CF 3.5 . I did the registry hack that deactivated Version 2.0 and enabled Version 3.5.
Should I have left both versions enabled or would this cause a conflict because Version 3.5 also includes the stuff from version 2.0?
