I think he is referring to the "very low volume" fix where the ringtone you have selected stops playing after 1 ring , and then the call is announced at an extremely low volume. It's the 1st post of page 4 or page 5 of a different VC thread here. I'll look and try to post a link.

Only major flaw with this solution is that the announcement volume is low.
