Why on earth would you think you had to unlock your Sprint Diamond just to install a theme? You only have to unlock it to flash a cooked ROM. I have a Sprint Diamond, never unlocked it, and can install any theme or Win Mobile software I want; at least on my Diamond (which isn't special at all) it's not even application locked.
