I don't have BigJs ROM loaded, but generally it goes like this:

1) Disconnect your PPC from your computer if it's connected
2) some ROMs have problems w/ Bluetooth being on while tethering via USB, so turn Bluetooth off on your PPC
3) Run Internet Connection Sharing (look in Programs for it)
4) Select USB mode
5) push the connect button
6) connect your PPC to your computer by USB

You should now see your computer load the USB driver and start trying to acquire an IP address. Give it a handful of seconds and you should be good to go.
