It's been several weeks now and my phone no longer gets hot on long calls.

It will get slightly warm. But it used to get very very warm.

I wonder if the recent OTA PRL update fixed it.

I had stopped running TF3D and the HTC Phone Skin but that had not really fixed the issue.

Battery on standby has been good but I probably get about 1 hr of talk time.
