Hmmm, I didn't follow that guide to get a fast lock. Just the one that you use DIAG mode, from XDA. I don't have a data block since I wanna recieve MMS. I have a set up in "My work Connection". MMS settings are set up only to use that. That way when on WiFi I don't gota turn it off. And no other programs ever dial the line because I did the option to "Program the automatically connect to internet should use..." I selected the one with no ceonnection, and then for "...Private networks" same thing. It works with the phone off. I might get the 29.99 e-mail and web plan later. I wonder if that will cover GPS...
