you could make a rom and have it restore all your reg fixes...email...etc by using whats called user customization...basically what i does after a flash is loads all your settings you tell it to from the sd card...its a one stop shop sort of deal...saves a few keystrokes here and there...you can even flash a rom which is uc compatible and it will do the same thing for you without having to futz around with cooking your own rom...
