Camera won't save to SD storage card if more than 2GB free

Anyone aware of a fix for the free space check when saving camera pics/movies to a storage card with more than 2GB of fee space?

I get an "Unable to capture. Not enough memory. 36009:111:0" error.

This happens with 2 different phones and 2 different 4GB SD cards. The pics save fine in any combination when more than 2GB is already filled on the cards but error out if more than about 2GB if free on the SD card. I assume that somewhere the code checking for free space can't handle the numbers bigger than 2GB. Both Apaches are XV6700s without the VZ customization. One is running the Saridnour Custom 3.5+ pr6 ROM, the other is running a slightly older Colonel AKU 3.5 ROM. I have mixed and matched the SD cards and without a doubt in any combination once more than 2GB is free on the SD card, I get the error when attempting to save the pictures. No other problems with the SD cards at all.

I am hoping to come across something simple like a registry entry but so far have found nothing which helps.

p.s. Thanks to both Saridnour and Colonel for some fine quality work on the ROMs.
