I'd buy something like that, if available and it would accommodate the camera/flash, and metal would look even better with the chrome appearance. I loved my PPC6700 because I could run that thing tethered for hours and only then would it get toasty but not to the point charging stopped (kept going like a champ). For me, it's more about tethering than phone usage, so I haven't had much testing on the Touch Pro. I realize newer/faster tech can cause overheating, and it's why I think cooling methods/mods are important. Added weight won't bother me as long as it doesn't become a 3 lb phone.

I purchased my phone at BB (like others, got it discounted) and already did various registry edits and whatnot, so I'm a bit reluctant to return this phone.
