Idea: Speed Dial on Internet Tab
I've been mulling over this idea for awhile but, I don't have the necessary programming skills to implement it.
Here's the idea:
-The internet tab should be redesigned to be more touch friendly and visually appealing. I'm thinking of a combination between the Htc Cube's quick dial interface and the speed dial interface from the full desktop version of Opera. (see pictures below)
Caveats:
- The user would probably have to add each link and picture manually (in other words not as automatic as the similar "most visited tabs" on google chrome).
- The full web pages may not look very visually appealing when shrunk down to such a small size.
-It may be easier to create a whole new internet tab rather than modify the existing one in order to work under these parameters.
Lastly, I don't care about credit or money for the idea. The only thing I ask is that if someone is able to develop this, that they distribute it freely to the community.
