Ok if that guide didnt help.. It probably did but I will post here anyways and explain a little 
Skip this step if you already have a radio version of 3.42.30 and a ROM version of 3.03 which means you already have the latest Sprint ROM
First you need to download and install the latest Sprint Official ROM from here http://www.htc.com/us/supportdownloa..._id=76&cat=all
Once its done downloading run it and flash it to your phone... This will upgrade your radio and ROM version
Now unlock with ImCokeMan's 2.31 Unlocker which is for GPS enabled radios.
Then you may flash any ROM you want.. Just run the ROMUpdateUtility.exe when you download the ROM..

that actually eplained it perfectly... thank you so much for that step by step... i'm new to this modding my phone thing... only thing i don't like is having to set everything back up, so i want to make sure that i do it correctly without jackin' my phone up...
