I am trying to use Bluetooth connection via ActiveSync 4.5 on my Alltel HTC 6800 to no avail. It will not find the bluetooth comport assigned for bluetooth communication.

In reading in Microsoft site "To support the ActiveSync Bluetooth Profile the updated .dll must be included and installed on the Desktop. Microsoft does not include the file, BthASPlugin.dll, in any version of ActiveSync. The OEM can update ActiveSync by including the BthASPlugin.dll file in an update to the Getting Started Disk, previously known as the Companion CD. " I do not have that CD nor am I able to find the dll file on the net anywhere.

Can someone please help me to be able to setup ActiveSync to use my bluetooth to sync?

Thanks in advance
