I ended up deleting my gmail account from my touch pro and then re-installing it. So far I am able to send e-mails from my TP via gmail but I do not think it will last (in much the same way the registry hack only worked for one night).

I did find a link that describes how to unlock your CAPTCHA (http://mail.google.com/support/bin/a...y?answer=14257) which basically is a way to re-enter your user id and password along with one of those codes from the distorted picture. I have not tried this yet, but I will probably end up trying it if my gmail fails to send again.
gmdphd,

BINGO, that is the post I read that helped me. I cursed for about 2 hours as I had NOT mistyped my password on my Touch Pro, but for whatever reason, some funky password (probably NULL) was cached somewhere within the Google website. I have to do it from the machin where I have the problem, though. In this case, from the Touch Pro - from Opera or PIE.

Somehow, Outlook and Google revert back to some cache or probably your IP address. Have to think about that.....Anyhow, appears Outlook and this CAPTCHA thing are related....

Anxious to see if this works for you. I had read the Tracy fix prior to trying this one out and it seemed to work....

For me, just deleting the account and re-adding didn't work. I had to do this in the process. Funky. And what a PITA.
