No I did not extend my contract. I emailed ecare and copied the email to Dan. They wanted to replace it with a new touch, but did not have any at the store. So they gave me a new diamond. It was actually kind of cool. I went to the store and the rep had it already set up and everything. I was in the store about 5 minutes.
I am working on a post about it. I have a lot of questions about this phone. But it is a cool phone.
