ya..that totally did the trick! tweaking the registry. Wow, thank you lots!! my registry has this setting:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Layouts\e0010409]
"Ime File"="\windows\compime.dll"
“Keyboard Layout”=”00000409”
"Layout Text"="COMP IME"
& everything works like a charm now..really appreciate it!!
