What works for me on the Diamond
When I tried to use logmein on my Diamond, I had the same trouble as you did. I couldn't get the keyboard (on screen keyboard, of course) to stay up to type anything. I was using Opera.
BUT when I switched to IE on the Diamond, the website directed me to install a cab, and then everything worked very well in IE.
