Re: Verizon HTC TOUCH PRO Information

Checked out Sprint's TP yesterday. I walked away with mixed feelings.

On the plus side:
- That VGA resolution is absolutely awesome. You have to see it to appreciate it.
- The overall size of the phone. I expected it to be thicker, but it really wasn't all that bad.
- Build quality seems pretty good.

Not too impressed by:
- The responsiveness. It wasn't as "snappy" as I expected it to be. I suspect TF3D will get annoying pretty quickly.
- The QWERTY on-screen keyboard in portrait mode is a challenge with that tiny screen. It works, but you have to type sloooowly and precisely.
- No landscape mode in email/text unless you slide out the keyboard?? At least I did not find out how. It should have simply flipped to landscape, with or without the keyboard slid out.
- The hardware keyboard has virtually no tactical feedback. I looks great, but I found it difficult to accurately type on compared to e.g. Q or Q9, or a Treo 700/800/Pro.

I think I'll sit this one out and wait for the Diamond and the Saga to appear as well...then make my choice.
