I just walked in, they said can I help you with something, and I said for once you actually can, I want touch pro, they said okay, have a seat over here, asked for my mobile #, couldn't find me in SNAP, I said I'm on an employee referral plan, he was like ah, give me your passcode then so I can call in to manually upgrade.
They can't view your sero account, they have to call Sprint and do it the old fashioned way, then email someone to get credit for the contract extension, but it can be done. Just be persistent or try another BB if you can, or go back another time to get another rep. Maybe I just got lucky by getting someone who had no problem spending a half hour on the phone with Sprint getting me hooked up. Then again, it was the first pro they had sold, so maybe he was motivated by the fact that he got to play with the phone while we were waiting for a manager to come over to manually punch in the 20% off coupon.
