Re: Touch Pro Finally Released Through Telesales

So I just tried retentions at 866-207-7913. Got a nice guy. Mentioned my phone falling apart, and the economy, and not being able to afford a new phone right now. How I'd tried out the cheaper Lotus and Rant phone at the Sprint store, but they just didn't compare with my Razr2. (my phone is sleek, shiney, and durable - the Rant and Lotus seemed a little plasticy to me) He asked if there was any phone I was interested in and I mentioned the Touch Pro, since it had a keyboard, and I'm a big texter. After that, he basically said there's not much he could do because that phone wasn't available through them. It may be available through telesales, but it's not yet through retentions. I mentioned only having the $75 discount available to me, and he said he really can't tell me what he can offer without having the phone to look at in his department. He said the best they could probably do is give me the full $150 discount. I asked if I got that discount, would I be eligible for the $100 MIR? He said he didn't see why not. But basically there's nothing he can do until the 2nd, when the phone is available to him. I asked him if he could note my account about our conversation, and he said yes. Then I asked if he could email it to me, and he said no. I told him that once before, telesales had told me they can't view notes, and he said "they should be able to by now." I didn't want to mention that it was just today that the telesales said they couldn't view notes, cause then he'd know that I'd called before. So, I'm thinking maybe I'll try telesales later and see if they can see any note about me being offered the full $150 and the $100 MIR - if so, I'm ordering it. But, I highly doubt I will be that lucky.
