When I was on 2.4.1 and then 2.5, I never had the green icon either... I attempted installing it myself with no luck while I was on 2.5. I seemingly tried every trick in the forums (here and XDA). Any ideas/suggestions that could/should work for 2.6?

It was removed from his roms because it was not considered accurate.
