As someone who works for an "on site" mobile electronics company and who has installed thousands of alarms and other vehicle electronics at the dealerships I have to say BS.
The only one I could see working is if you had an older Jeep product that used the IR alarm/keyless entry transmitters (yes, they had them, stupid idea) you could possible teach those to your device and try to use its very weak IR transmitter to unlock the Jeep.
