the device is not a pos. the fact that the GPS is locked until you modify these settings for it to work correctly, does not make it a POS. the fact that your having difficulty following the instructions so many others such as my self did, does not make this device a POS.
my best suggestion is to go back and read my other post in here since it seems you have either ignored it or disregarded it. you MUST fill in the gpsONE settings in QPST to get the gps to lock. its not an option to just say "i cant figure it out so ill skip that part" like you have. you cannot pass judgement on this device untill you can elimiate the user errors your experencing. because you're not showing the diamond any justice, that which it deserves.
PS: another reccomendation is making sure your location is set to "on" in the phone settings.
