In general, my Touch Pro is drawing more power (will have less battery life) than my Mogul.
At idle (with the screen on set at a fixed brightness of approx 20%.) I have both configured similarly (Wifi off, bluetooth on but not connected) and the Mogul will draw between 85 to 130ma with the TP drawing between 150 to 180ma. If I enable automatic brightness on the TP, the power draw goes up based on how bright the screen gets (obviously
but the average in my office goes to 180 to 210ma. The interesting thing is that with the screen off, in standby, the Mogul drops to 40 to 80ma and the TP goes to 17 to 50ma. So in standby, it would seem the TP would outlast the Mogul, but those savings are quickly eaten up with very little use.
I collected this data using nuePower & batterystatus YMMV.
At the end of the day, the TP is lasting the day for me, so I'm happy but I'll need to be more careful than I was with my Mogul. The occasional nights where I'm "too tired" at the end of the night to plug my phone in may now be more painful the next day. But at least I have the option for a second battery.
